You need a replacement for your existing roll or a technical drawing, but you do not have a technical description of the roll core and coating? We would be pleased to offer you the examination of the existing coating as well as a comprehensive measurement of your roll core. We will then prepare a complete drawing of the core for you and offer to manufacture a new roll based on the existing roll.
With the help of modern FEM software, coatings can be optimally designed for your application in terms of material, wall thickness, hardness and geometry. If the existing boundary conditions are not known, we offer to measure them on site.
We test coatings and their properties and suitability on our roll test stands. Especially at high loads and speeds or in contact with aggressive media, testing is recommended to avoid cost-intensive plant downtimes. Our selection of measuring instruments for determining the mechanical, electrical and chemical properties allows us to make a targeted material selection in advance.
